    Day 1AnchorageAnchorage : After you pick up your rental car from the airport, the rest of the day is yours to enjoy. Overnight Anchorage.
    Day 2SewardAnchorage - Seward: 125 miles : Today, drive south to Seward along the scenic Seward Highway, an Alaska Scenic Byway. En route, stop at Portage Lake for a cruise on the mv Ptarmigan. When you arrive in Seward, a picturesque port town on Resurrection Bay, enjoy a visit to the Alaska SeaLife Center-the Northern Hemisphere's only coldwater research facility and the home of Steller sea lions, harbor seals and a variety of seabirds.     Day 3TalkeetnaSeward - Talkeetna: 240 miles : Board your sightseeing vessel this morning for an amazing cruise of Kenai Fjords National Park-an amazing wonderland of glaciers, fjords and marine wildlife. After your cruise, retrace your route back to Anchorage, sightseeing along Turnagain Arm and Cook Inlet. Then venturing onward to Talkeetna where the views of Mt.     Day 4FairbanksTalkeetna - Fairbanks: 278 miles : Look around Talkeetna, the quirky mountaineering town that inspired the TV show "Northern Exposure" before continuing your scenic highway journey through the heart of Alaska. The small town of Nenana, home of the winter Ice Classic, is a great place to stop for lunch. Later, arrive in Fairbanks, Alaska's second largest city. For dinner tonight, we suggest an optional tour to Pioneer Park home of the Alaskan Salmon Bake and the Palace Theatre Saloon. Overnight Fairbanks.
    Day 5FairbanksFairbanks : Before turning in your rental car today, stop by the Museum of the North at the University of Fairbanks. Overnight Fairbanks.
    Day 6DenaliFairbanks - Denali : This morning, transfer to the rail station where you'll board luxurious railcars for a classic train ride you'll never forget. It brings you to Denali National Park, home of amazing wildlife and Mt. McKinley. Overnight Denali.
